ಕೆಮ್ಮಿದೆ ಗಂಟಲು, ಕಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಮೂಗು, ಶೀತವೊ, ಉಷ್ಣವೊ ಕಾಣೆನು ನಾನು. ಊಟದಿ ರುಚಿಯು ಹತ್ತುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಡುಗೆಯ ವಾಸನೆ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೀನಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ನಲುಗಿದೆ ದೇಹ, ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲುಗಿದೆ ಕಾಯ. ಮಾತೇ ಹೊರಡದೆ ಸೊರಗಿದೆ ದನಿಯು, ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಲವಲವಿಕೆಯ ನಗುವು. ಮಾತ್ರೆಯ ನುಂಗಿದೆ, ಕುಡಿದೆ ಕಷಾಯ, ನಿದ್ರೆಯ ಬರಿಸಿದೆ, ಏರಿಸಿ ನಶೆಯ. ಮದ್ದಿನ ಮತ್ತಲಿ ಸಾಗಿದೆ ಜೀವ, ಬರಿ ಮೂರೇ ತಾಸು ಇದರ ಪ್ರಭಾವ. ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಯಮದಾ ಗಡಿ, ಜೀವವ ಹಿಂಡಿದೆ ಈ ನೆ-ಗಡಿ.

ಪದಬಂಧದ ಜೀವನ.

ಪದಬಂಧವಾಗಿದೆ ನನ್ನೀ ಜೀವನ, ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೀ ಸುಳಿವುಗಳ ತಿರುವುಗಳು. ಬಾಳಿನ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರೆ ಸರಿ ಉತ್ತರ, ತುಂಬಬಲ್ಲೆ ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲ ಖಾಲಿ ಡಬ್ಬವ. ಹರಿಯುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆ, ಹಾಯುವುದು ಚಿಂತೆಗಳು ಎಡದಿಂದ ಬಲಕ್ಕೆ. ಬೇಕಿರುವನೊಬ್ಬ ಸಾಲುತ್ತರಗಳ ಸರದಾರ, ಜೀವನದ ಪದಬಂಧವ ಖಾಲಿ ಬಿಡದ ಸುಖಧರ.
